In response to our concerns, Ali stated that “most of the URLs reported [were] on good faith based on the source being Graceware” and that Graceware had “verified ownership of the content.” We suspect that when Graceware first presented their INTEROCO “registrations” to Ukie, Ali assumed the information was accurate and authoritative—especially since submitting a false copyright registration to a trade group would be an extremely unusual thing to do.
